With the mission of presenting diverse performing and visual arts programs in order to educate, enrich, and entertain the students, residents, and visitors of the Venice area, the Venice Performing Arts Center (VPAC) first opened its doors for its 2014-2015 Inaugural Season. Boasting a 1,090-seat multi-level auditorium, VPAC is the largest performing arts venue in the Venice area. VPAC’s unique location near Historic Downtown Venice and adjacent campus to Venice High School allows it to truly be the place where arts and education meet.
VPAC’s activities are guided by a dedicated staff and Advisory Committee. VPAC is made possible by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, the City of Venice, and the Sarasota County School Board. VPAC is also supported by the Venice Institute for Performing Arts (VIPA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting performance and arts management education.
