History About Studio Center Miami
Studio Center Miami was established in 1972 in North Miami and began as a Television and Film Post Production House for Ivan Thorns. Working on TV shows and films such as Flipper, Big Ben, Smokey and the Bandit to name a few. In 1974 Steve Cuiffo, the original founder and owner of the company decided to open it’s first 8 track Audio Suite. In 1978, as the music recording component to Studio Center Miami began to flourish, a second Audio Suite was built, and this time with a 24 track. This proved to be a major success! In 1986 Studio Center moved from the North Miami location to it’s current location in Miami Lakes. At this time, the television & film side of the business was eliminated to specialize strictly in the Music Industry providing Audio Recording & Mixing services only. The move was a huge success!
Studio Center Miami has now been at the same location for 30 years and has received over 10 Grammy Award winning albums, numerous Gold & Platinum albums & singles.
