Albert Fortes has been involved in the music scene since he was 10 years old. He played in bands throughout middle school, high school, and gigged with multiple acts in his 20s. He currently plays guitar in the country band, The Redland Band. He has played guitar, bass (upright included), and even dabbled in drums in his nearly 20 years as musician.

Albert became a music instructor at the age of 20 and a luthier shortly thereafter. His luthier work began with the necessity to maintain his own equipment, but quickly grew into a profession prompting him to become Taylor Guitar Silver Certified. He has worked on everything from simple  to complex custom guitar repairs and expanded his service into tube amps.
