Sarasota Musica Viva has presented over twenty concerts in and around the Sarasota area over the past two years. These concerts have offered audiences an eclectic mix of ensembles and repertoire.
Sarasota Musica Viva is dedicated to presenting a constantly evolving chamber music repertoire, performed by virtuosic musicians who play with incredible passion and precision. Our mission is to expand, enrich and engage our audiences by presenting new and rarely performed masterpieces that otherwise might not be heard.
In 2016-2017 SMV’s commissioning program will introduce challenging new music along with some fresh arrangements of traditional chamber music works. Our 2017-2018 season promises innovative collaborative projects that will surely delight both music and dance aficionados. Sarasota Musica Viva hopes you will join us for these exciting performances!
