The original Music Stand was formed in Longwood, Florida in the early 1980s. David Edwards, owner of the Music Stand in Port Charlotte, worked in Longwood for 10 years. In 1991, David opened a branch in Punta Gorda. The Music Stand proudly serves as Charlotte County's longest standing full service music store.
Set Up
We provide restrings and set ups for all fretted and orchestral instruments.
Tube Testing
On site we have a tube tester available, as well as many new and used tubes.
Electronic repair
We do minor electronic repair work in house. If we cannot assist you here, we will recommend a local repair shop.
Woodwind and Brass Instrument Repair
The owner of the store will gladly fix your woodwind or brass instrument.
