Thank you for visiting my site on piano-keyboard lessons in the Central Palm Beach county area. I appreciate you taking the time to read a little bit about me, my philosophy, and the  piano teaching services that I offer to students. I service students in Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Loxahatchee, and Boynton Beach Florida.

I am an experienced piano teacher of 16 years and I am a member of the Music Teachers National Association. I live and teach in Wellington Florida and have been here since 2005. I am originally from central New Jersey and I have been teaching there since 1999. I have worked with many different students of different ages and varying skill levels.

I give piano lessons to children starting at age 4 and teach adults as well.  I teach all styles of music such as classical, jazz, showtunes, sacred music, and popular music. I also have a strong backround in music theory. I always make sure that my teaching agenda is based around the student and not myself. This is truly important as I will always ask the student what he or she is interested in.

The levels that I teach are from earliest beginners to early advanced levels of playing.

My studio services the areas of Wellington, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Royal Palm Beach, and Lake Worth Florida areas of Palm Beach County Florida.  My studio is very centrally located and convenient to drive to in most areas of the western communities.

I teach on an August Forster grand piano,  a Kawai upright piano as well as a Yamaha Digital Clavinova. I usually teach the younger students on the digital piano at first. It is much less intimidating and has a lot of fun sounds and rhythms that the little ones enjoy.

I am a patient and dedicated teacher and I am committed to bringing out the best in each student I work with. I am aware that every student has a different personality as well as learning style. I incorporate this knowledge and understanding of my students in my teaching.

My mission as a teacher is to facilitate the student in developing a love for the piano as well as music in general. I also want students to look forward to their lessons and feel good about their accomplishments. My goal is for students to enjoy the process of learning the piano as well as achieving musical and performance skills.

If you are interested in piano or keyboard lessons for yourself or for a child, please contact me at any time to discuss the possibility setting up an initial meeting or a trial lesson. I can answer any questions you may have about my teaching style, experience, expectations , as well as the new student special. I almost always return calls or emails on the same day.
