The idea was to gather together the finest guitars in the world and to offer them in an honorable fashion with real expertise and guidance. To this end we sought out and critically reviewed instruments from dozens of the top builders. We now offer many of the finest instruments in the world in one place, brought to you by players, for players. Due to career demands Martin is no longer part of Dream Guitars®, but remains a supportive friend.

Our new 3000 sq. ft. repair facility is open for business, featuring six of the finest repair men in the country. As the owner of Dream Guitars, Paul has played more guitars then most people on the planet, and has a keen understanding of modern and vintage guitars alike. Ken is a sculptor, metal worker, and guitar maker with an eye for the details and the patience of a saint. Both Ken and Paul agree: restoring instruments to their peak playability is an important charge, one they both take seriously.

Our services run the gamut of stringed-instrument repair and maintenance, from simple setups and pickup installs to complete restorations of your vintage collection. We do it all.

We've made shipping extremely simple. We'll arrange for Fedex to pickup and return your instrument. We have also arranged for the lowest possible shipping & insurance rates so everyone can have access to top notch repair no matter where you reside. We can even send you a box and packing material.
Working with Dream Guitars is safe and easy. The process is simple;
- Send us detailed information about your instrument and the problem(s) you are experiencing. Also send digital photos if you can and be sure to include your phone numbers.
- We'll send a recommendation and an estimate based on your information. This will include an estimated return date.
- If you approve, we'll arrange for pickup of your instrument. Upon receipt we'll inspect it and provide you with a final repair estimate.
- If you approve, we'll do the work and get your instrument back to you in a timely manner.

Showroom: We have a wonderful, relaxed environment for demoing guitars. Our showroom is acoustically treated and we stock only the finest guitars. See a shop tour. We really are a different shop!
Showings: You are welcome to come play instruments at our showroom in North Carolina. We are easy to reach. Our North Carolina location is just outside of Asheville where we offer private showings by appointment. But we also ship worldwide with our 3 day trial period. So you can buy risk free from anywhere!
We are located just 10 miles north of beautiful Asheville, NC where shopping, dining, and entertainment are plentiful. Many customers bring their families down to enjoy area activities, horseback riding, the Biltmore Estate or Grove Park Inn. Make it a great family getaway!
