History
The Genesis of Audio Vision Studios involves all of the original visionaries responsible for putting Miami on the musical map. Their contributions to the Miami music scene, as well their influence on music in general cannot be overstated.

Mack Emerman (Criteria Recording Studios), Steve Alaimo (TK Records) and branding legend, idea man Stuart Sher (are responsible as the main instigators of the healthy music industry that Miami enjoys today. Ron and Howard began engineering at the then one room Criteria Recording Studios in the mid 60's.

While Ron and Howard were hard at work with: The Allman Brothers, Crosby Stills & Nash and Eric Clapton, Karl Richardson (along with Barry Gibb and Albhy Galuten) would turn out hits with: The Bee Gees, Barbra Streisand, Kenny Rogers, Dionne Warwick and Dolly Parton.

All the while, Ricky Taylor and Steve Alaimo were across town creating TK Records funky multi-platinum sound of: KC & The Sunshine Band, Betty Wright, George McCrae and Bobby Caldwell.

Through the combined efforts of Mack, Howard, Ron, Karl, Steve and Ricky... the "Miami Sound" was born. These achievements would be enough for most... but, these partners are still having a major influence today with an efficient 'can do' style of Studio operations and management.
